- Decide on a list of people that will have admin priviledges on internal tools such as the matrix.
- Decide on a few meta-decisions for the Code of Conduct.
- Who wants to write the Code of Conduct?
- Do we want a full and abridged version of the Code of Conduct?
- Should we include positive behaviours in the Code of Conduct?
- Discuss @outfrost’s idea for passing the forum discussions into meeting agendas.
- Admin Privileges within the internal community circle matrix channels will be given to all elected officers (leader, facilitator, secretary, delegate). This policy will be in effect until 08/26/2027.
- The code of conduct will be written by @maidmage.
- There will be no abridged version of the code of conduct.
- The Code of Conduct will have positive behaviors included.
- Discussing more about how positive behaviors will be added to the Code of Conduct.
- Discuss @outfrost’s idea for passing the forum discussions into meeting agendas.
- Finalize the policy on discriminating against different groups.
- Finalize the policy on harassment and personal attacks against other users within the group.
During some of the rounds, discussion ballooned and we began discussing different topics.
- @prod noted that people have already suggested specific wording as part of their policy suggestions for the code of conduct. They suggested that a page should exist with decisions that have been set in stone to either reduce people repeating each other, or to help finalize a draft. This would also reduce the time it took to refer to previous minutes.
- @maidmage had already started work on such a page prior to the meeting (https://wiki.tsuki.games/en/circles/community/decisions) and had already shared it in the matrix, although it was a work in progress at the time of the meeting. It has since been completed and at the time of writing is up to date with this current meeting.
- @Tomaterr and @outfrost have both volunteered to help assist in the writing process.
- @outfrost talked about how the process for writing the draft has not been defined, whether that would be only writing approved policies, or if it would also involve writing policies that have not yet been voted on.
- @maidmage suggested that the code of conduct be written in chunks, and that each policy's final wording could be approved and voted upon during a meeting.
- @outfrost suggested that if the code of conduct is written in chunks, that approved sections should be distinguished in some form.
